OUR STORY
Macrae Skye is a purpose based company created to inspire kids to live a life filled with wonder, confidence and authenticity. Our mission of authenticity, intentional designs, and our fierce community—stitched together—create an experience that encourages your kids to find the truest versions of themselves: confident, happy, and bold.
We make the very best sustainable kids clothing on the planet—dresses, jumpsuits, joggers, tees, skirts, shorts, bathing suits, vegan shoes, and so much more—that are designed to be comfy, bright, and fun, and most importantly, made to last! Our team is made up of a group of industry rock stars in sustainability, design and production. And since we’re a kids’ brand, we always do our homework!
We’re Sustainable
We walk the walk. Macrae Skye is committed to environmental and social responsibility. For us, sustainable fashion means that we’re mindful of every step of the life cycle of our garments, from initial design, to the sourcing of materials, to the manufacturing partners we choose, to the wages we pay, to the way in which we ship and package our products. Every little effort adds up—it’s about progress, not perfection. Kind of like parenting.
We Give Back
"Buy One, Give One" to the women and children in domestic abuse shelters. Something to think about next time the kids go through a growth spurt! Through our Tomorrow Skye initiative we donate used clothing, from all over the country, to our partner domestic abuse shelters—which keeps clothing out of landfills, repurposes used items, and helps others in need. We’ve already donated over 75 tons of clothing. Seriously amazing! But we still have a long way to go, and we can’t do it without you.

Thanks to smart and confident women like you, our message of showing up, as you are, is traveling far and wide. Macrae Skye isn’t only about the amazing, eco-friendly kids clothing we offer—it’s about our community of rockstar moms who inspire authenticity in their children by being themselves! We’re here in the trenches with you. After all, growing up is a journey for parents too!

OUR FOUNDER
You might call Kim Slicklein a world transplant. After living in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, London, Amsterdam, and Johannesburg, she now resides in Amagansett, NY with her husband and two children. Inspired by her personal and professional experiences abroad, Macrae Skye was love at first thought, and a business soon after. The goal? To provide parents with fun, stylish, and ethically made children’s clothing that uses fewer natural resources, reduces waste, and helps those in need. While every design is firmly rooted in showcasing the joy of global diversity, there is just as much emphasis on driving change in the fashion industry.
